Type 2 diabetes is also known as insulin independent diabetes. Let us start from basic, in type 2 diabetes insulin is not used efficiently by the body cells, although the insulin is produced by pancreas but this insulin is not used in proper way by the body cells. This improper use of insulin by body cells increases the sugar level in blood, thus causes diabetes.

This is the most common type of diabetes and 90% of diabetes cases around the world are of type 2 diabetes. Lack of physical exercises and unhealthy food is the main cause of type 2 diabetes. 
It is a life long disease and also a serious disease, but still there are certain ways to prevent this disease healthy eating and proper exercises  are such significant ways.
Lots of people get confused between type 1 and type 2 diabetes, although both are serious but symptoms in type 1 diabetes appears more quickly and type 2 diabetes is more common and found in most of the cases, but the important thing to notice is that both of the disease are equally serious we cannot neglect any of the diabetes type untreated, this may lead to death as well, so one must start treatment as soon as the disease is diagnosed.

The major symptoms of type 2 diabetes are increased thirst, frequent urination, increased hunger, over fatigue, blurred vision and black marks under the eyes.  Type 2 diabetes is more common among the adults, middle aged people are usually prone towards type 2 disease. However the symptoms in type 2 diabetes occurs slowly as compared to type 1 diabetes but if you find any of the above symptoms you should must contact your health provider and test, if found positive you should start your treatment as soon as possible because this is a serious disease and should not be left untreated.
